Why do I like Teawaves’ Lady of Mercy or Tie Guanyin tea?
Short answer: it feels light, bright, and like the sun is hitting my face.
But can I feel good about drinking it? Of course. As true with all of Teawaves’ teas and tisanes, we only use true, clean ingredients. Though, why can you feel extra good about Teawaves’ Lady of Mercy or Tie Guanyin?
The portions of spring leaves are higher than the autumn leaves, but both are included in good portion to ensure both anti-oxidants and vibrancy as well as a golden color with flavor depth.
Oolong tea, particularly green, or lightly oxidized oolongs like the Teawaves Lady of Mercy (Tie Guanyin) have been traditionally used by the Chinese for centuries to help digest large, indulgent meals or to boost metabolism for those in need. Recent studies also show that these types of oolongs can help promote insulin resistance and collagen production.
For me, I like for the ritual. All of Teawaves’ loose leaf teas and tisanes can be infused multiple times to different degrees. With some of our teas, the first steep is the strongest and each steep from there gets a little weaker, but not the Lady of Mercy (Tie Guanyin). The first steep is just the starting point.
If I know I’m in for a day behind the computer and still want a taste of the outside or I’m having a group of clean lifestyle friends over at the end of the day, Lady of Mercy (Tie Guanyin) is one of my main go to’s—espcially if I’m in the mood for something warm.
