Earl Grey is one of the most famous flavored teas in the world. Our earl grey blends a fine, full leaf, Ceylon black tea from an artisanal farm in Sri Lanka blended with the authentic juices of the bergamot peels. The legend behind the name comes when the tea was blended for Charles Grey in the 1820s as it was said the bergamot would balance the lime in his water. His wife, Lady Grey favored the tea greatly and tea shops in London began carrying this blend. Earl grey is said to be beneficial for weight management, oral health, and heart health.
